NBA新球季今天開鑼，上一季總冠軍騎士隊，在主場迎戰尼克，賽前還舉行冠軍戒指的頒贈儀式，小皇帝詹姆士（James）火力全開，繳出19分11籃板和14助攻的大三元成績，帶領騎士以117：88大勝尼克，也讓克里夫蘭的球迷，能在同一天慶祝世界大賽首戰和NBA開幕戰，全都拿下勝利。
NBA新球季開幕戰，在騎士隊主場點燃戰火，賽前還正式舉行冠軍戒指頒發儀式，騎士全隊球員興奮的把戒指戴在手上炫燿，現場另一個高潮就是球場中央升起2016NBA總冠軍旗幟，也是騎士隊史上第一面總冠軍旗。
尼克來到騎士主場，當然不想當配角，Melo的中距離得手讓尼克在第一節取得小幅領先，但身為小皇帝的LeBron，怎能容許任何人在他的皇宮撒野，Jefferson的三分球沒進，LeBron立刻衝到禁區豪邁爆扣。
從公牛轉戰尼克的飆風玫瑰Rose，今天屢屢切入挑戰禁區，他攻下全隊最高的17分，在尼克的處女秀表現及格，上半場打完尼克僅僅是以45：48落後三分。
不過從第三節開始，騎士攻勢有如行雲流水，慢慢把比數拉開，三巨頭各個有出色演出，其中Irving攻下兩隊最高的29分。
